Het Bozenmeertje, dat grenst aan de Kerk Ae, is met zeker tientallen meters het diepste water van Waterland. Het kan hier bij slecht weer behoorlijk spoken, vroeger toen alle transport over water ging vermeed men deze plek het liefst. Er gaat zelfs een verhaal dat er een monster leeft in het meer, dat eens in de zoveel tijd een kind wil verzwelgen. Een soort monster van Loch Ness, maar dan in Waterland. Een rustpunt voor de durfal dus!
